Happy Friday! We have a weekend ahead full of Easter baking, friends, babysitting Nolan's best friend, and eating & napping of course! ..Oh and we plan on winning the huge jackpot lottery.  

This last picture refused to cooperate with me!! It was my favorite so just crane your head to the side! :)

Hans and I celebrated our 27th and 28th birthdays this past weekend.  We had a great  weekend.

Too start off I got this REALLY cool cupcake flower from my friend, Bridget!

THEN I got the most amazing chocolates in the world from Annalise. She had these chocolates at her wedding and Hans and I have been slightly obsessed ever since.  We hid them until all of my friends left on Sunday and then  Hans told me the box of chocolates couldn't be opened until we finished our birthday cake (yes sometimes he thinks he's my father).  I'm not a huge birthday cake fan but Hans managed to finish about a dozen pieces of cake by himself the next day anyway. He then proceeded to take little nibbles of all the  chocolates in the box...

Nolan got to meet his first Luther baby friend, Harper!

Nolan turned 4 months on Hans' birthday!  Look at his new talent...I came into the room and found him like this.  I had to reenact it for the picture but he seemed to enjoy it on his face just as much the second time around.

Darci flew in from Virginia on our birthdays!  We had a Luther themed night! Kevin (Bethany's husband) had an asthma attack later that night and didn't have his inhaler.  I know it doesn't sound like something to laugh about but I can't stop laughing right now.  He survived.  If you knew him you would for sure chuckle too.

 Then God punished me for laughing at Kevin Saturday night.  Sunday morning I burned myself making breakfast pizza.  I know what you're thinking besides I'm an idiot..Why didn't I wear an oven mitt!?  The oven mitt was on my other hand..But it was all worth it for the Biscuits & Gravy breakfast pizza! mmm!

UHHHH MOM??  I could use a LITTLE help here on where I should rest my arm!?

Suprise 60th Bday!

Happy Tuesday!

Nolan, Hans, Banks and I traveled back to Wisconsin this weekend to my parents house.  And as I woke up Monday morning still wearing yesterday's church clothes.. I realized the weekend must have been a success!  My brother and his family were there as well and we had a tricky plan..a suprise 60th bday party for my dad at my Aunt's bowling alley. It also happened to take place on St Patrick's Day!

This is the birthday group! My dad's real birthday is March 25th, Hans' the 24th and mine is the 23rd!  Of course the most fun is always had on the 23rd..

Hans bowled a 212 and had taken home his score card in hopes we can frame it somewhere in our house.. Pretty sure the score card accidentally got lost somewhere between Wisconsin and Iowa!  Oh and another fabulous suprise happened Saturday night..Jami & Chad had their baby! Bennett Martin Brieske! Can't wait to meet him!! :)

Spring has sprung!

Happy Friday Eve!  So this past week Nolan and I have gotten to walk every day! Mornings and nights! He is the best stroller rider..unless he gets hungry on the ride.  Then he fake cries and people give me nasty "your a bad mom" |looks.  Here's a preview of our walk earlier this week...

A couple things you are probably thinking after watching this video....
1. I can't talk. I should just video my cute baby and not say a word.
2. That you should call animal control to take away my dog because I ran him over with a stroller.
3. Nolan must be roasting with that cover over his stroller..its only been 70 degrees all week. (whatever.. I get nervous when there is wind!)

I also have a problem of  having to take pictures on our walk which makes for lots of stops and lots of huff and puffs from both Banks and Hans. 

And to end..Nolan recieved some sunglasses from a  lady at my work..It was super sunny out so we thought we'd try them out today.  I hope this doesn't scar him later on in life..

My Dad the Expert Texter!

Happy Sunday! So because my dad has such a fabulous texting ability I've decided to donate a post to it.  It's not that he can't spell or talk because he's a pretty smart lawyer..he's just a little slow with technology.

DAD: Cant wait to see you all again Hos the job going

 ME: Next time we r home can you make me pancakes with chocolate chips?

(No idea what he was going for here..but I do know he will make them! He makes the best pancakes in the world!:)

Even though my dad is horrible at texting he is still the best dad EVER! He even told me I reminded him of KATNISS off of the Hunger Games Series!  If any of you have read the books you know this is TOTALLY UNTRUE. I'm absolutely NOTHING like Katniss, who hunts her own food with a bow an arrow and survives in a wilderness on her own!! ( I'm lucky to make a pizza without burning my finger and needing an ice pack!)  Definitely just took the compliment though and now think of myself as a warrior survivor!

My husband is a hoarder

HAPPY FRIDAY!  I've decided to make fun of Hans for my blog post. Since I will get in trouble anyway I might as well go all out and start with this picture..

  Hans is not exactly a hoarder but what I term as a supplier. For instance Hans goes to the store to buy deodorant..he comes home with not one deodorant...but fourteen deoderants..

 

 THEN he goes back to walmart the next day and says "there were only 4 left on the shelf so I decided to just buy them."   

Next Hans goes to the store to buy chips..(remember there are just two of us living in the house together as Nolan can't yet eat chips) Now maybe 5 bags of chips doesn't seem like a lot, I don't even know anymore since I'm becoming brainwashed by my supplying husband..but what you don't see are the three bags in the cupboard which we already have!

Hans also has FOUR sock drawers..

If you have a dog have him come on over for a meal...Hans has 10 bags of dog food saved up!

If you are ever at our house don't worry about running out of toilet paper! Hans buys toilet paper and paper towels like the end of the world could be tomorrow!
