My little "Who"
Nolan attended my hometown basketball game last week..and he loved it! (Note: I may need to retire the pants he's wearing).
We stayed at the game a tad past his bedtime..and when we got home he looked like a little angry 'Who' from Whoville!
"Fah who for-aze!
Dah who dor-aze!
Welcome Christmas,
Come this way! "
Dah who dor-aze!
Welcome Christmas,
Come this way! "
"Welcome, Welcome
Fah who rah-moose
Welcome, Welcome
Dah who dah-moose
Christmas day is in our grasp
So long as we have hands to clasp."
Merry almost Christmas from my little 'Who!'

Mullet boy!
Reasons why Nolan needs a haircut:
1. He's starting to look like a girl.
2. I'm starting to think he's a girl. The other day in the store when the cashier complimented Nolan, "Oh she has such pretty eyes." I responded "Yes she does, thanks." (Wait..what did I just say).
3. He pulls his hair really hard and makes an angry face (Probably begging me in sign language to cut it).
4. I can put his hair in a pony tail.
5. Hans jokes that Nolan looks like Joe Dirt.."Business in the front, party in the back" (However, I think this is a slight exaggeration: See below).
6. His food gets caught in his curls..and then he finds the piece of corn later and eats it.
Reasons why Nolan can't get a haircut:
Reasons 1-10. His little curls are soooooo cute and if I cut them they could be gone foreverrrr and he will look WAY too grown-up.
Looks like the reasons why I shouldn't get his haircut outweigh why I should. Just give me the curls until after the holidays.

Playdate with Baby B!
Nolan and Baby B had a play-date last week! It started off pretty wild as you can imagine being offspring's of Jami and I.
Nolan is a year and Baby B is 8 months!
"Oh these are all mine actually!"
"Oh sorry, this truck is mine too."
Towards the end of the play date Nolan decided to go to his coffee table cave and not come out.
We fairly quickly decided to put the broom away..
Nolan is a year and Baby B is 8 months!
Nolan was being very careful not to touch Baby B..
So we forced them to sit closer..and they shared their first awkward moment.
Wait! We like each other!
Nolan did have some sharing problems (In his defense he thought Baby B was going to eat and swallow this toy..I was a little worried as well:)
"Oh these are all mine actually!"
"Oh sorry, this truck is mine too."
Towards the end of the play date Nolan decided to go to his coffee table cave and not come out.
Until he saw Baby B playing with his photo books..
At least he was gentle.
To great grandmother's house we go!
Nolan visited Great grandma last week..
Excuse me great grandma but may I please have your clementine?
Mmm..
Whipping the clementines across the room..
With great grandma and grandma..
Snow!!
Tuesday Nolan & I went back to Wisconsin for a few days. And Nolan FINALLY got to experience his first snow & sledding!!
At first the snow paralyzed him. Just a little bird stuck in the snow..(Thanks Emily Nelson for the hat!:)
Getting ready to play outside (SUPER EXCITED!)
Much better mood once we actually got outside..
He liked snow..despite the fact my mom wasn't the best sled driver and there was a pretty wild turn where he was flown from the sled...
This would be the wild turn I was referring to...

Ahh he figured it out!
He got back on..despite some whines.
Still a little weary of grandma's driving..
Can I be done now?

Santa!!
Nolan met Santa this afternoon!!!
Here we are waiting in line outside Santa's house...
Meeting Santa for the first time!
Santa gave him the ultimate compliment by saying he wished all babies were as good as him! Woot woot pretty sure Santa's visiting our house this year!! Nice work Nolan!
He loved the lights in Santa's house and gave a lot of "Oooo's and Ahhhhs!"
****We have video of Nolan talking to Santa too and it's adorable. But you will never see it because Hans always insists on videoing with "High definition on his phone" And because this makes the videos so big they can't be sent or uploaded to anyone or anywhere. So I hope Hans enjoys his videos on his phone that no one else can see (No I'm not bitter at all about this).

Is it really December?
This is how we spent the 4th of December! Nolan probably didn't even need a coat but since it's December I forced him to wear one.. with his hood up!
