Noodle sucking..

Hopefully the title of this post is not perverted. N's new favorite thing is to suck in his spaghetti noodles. It is beyond hilarious to him.  Here he is in action!

Cousin fun!

This was the AMAZING greeting N 's cousins gave him a couple weeks ago. (Yes,  N is under there somewhere...I'm glad Grandpa J is so concerned for his well being).

His cousin decided to make him her little Minion.  She cooked and N was her taste tester.

He is very smitten with his older cousin..so he just kept trying whatever she gave him!

He also went to bed for her when she told him it was bedtime at 4pm.

Eye glasses..

I had to get new prescription glasses today.  I REALLY enjoyed smiling in the mirror at myself in Jennifer Lopez's $150 frames but  ultimately I put the decision in N's hands. N  said "NO!" when I smiled at him in JLO's frames. While I was slightly offended I tried on some other glasses for him.  After a thousand more "No's" from him he said "Oooooooh" when I smiled at him in the $9 walmart brand frames. So I took my 20 month old's advice and ordered my $9 frames along with my lenses. 

N also decided to try on some glasses. (Good practice for him because if he gets his mother's blind eyes!)

Diecke Park!

We found the most fun amazing park in our area so I had to share a few pictures..

N's favorite thing..school bus ("Doo Daaa") And it even moved!

Carnival Rides..

N experienced his first carnival over the July 4th weekend!

 He rode the train with Grandma G.

They were both equally excited..

 

He also went down the humungo slide with Grandma!

And rode the carousel with me!

Terrorizing the Animals.

We went to the lakeside festival in our town this weekend and N got to experience a mini petting zoo.  Unfortunately I wasn't there to watch him first hand (as my husband and I were getting the car) but my mother-in-law got some good pictures for me!  

Apparently the duck was not N's biggest fan. Poor duck.

One of my observations while looking at my mother-in-law's pictures was that N is the only child actually IN with the animals and the other children are all behind the fences... I will have to check with N's grandma to see why N got to terrorize the animals up close and personal.

My husband is starting to lose it...

The signs...

1. I caught him cuddling N's favorite dog Goldie while doing some work on his laptop.  N wasn't even around so he had no excuses as to why they were cuddling..

2. He steals his 19 month old baby's sorbet (Heartless).

      3. He sits inside N's Thomas the train tent on a daily basis..

Although he has some obvious personal issues to work through he is still the most fabulous dad!
