What an Arm!

Nolan has an amazing throw! And even MORE amazing facial expressions while in the process of throwing...

He's also mastered the behind the back throw which we are pretty proud of..

Now that's some baby skill..

We are in the process of teaching him ONLY to throw balls...because he's also really good at throwing crayons, food, blocks, iphones, books, cars, trucks, cameras, plates and sippy cups.

Baby Desk!

Nolan got the most amazing gift from the Garske's!  They made him a desk out of cupboards in his two favorite colors, blue & green!

He absolutely loves it! Especially his side drawer where he stores his very important items (but mostly cheerios).

He reads on his new desk.

 And colors to the best of his ability.

But he ALWAYS makes sure to take breaks from working at his desk to cuddle his puppy.

I knew it wouldn't be long before he found a way to do something naughty on the desk..

And today was the day..

Sick baby

Nolan has been sick for 7 days now.  We went to the doctor yesterday to find out he has ear infections.

Here's Nolan patiently waiting for the doctor to come in..

And then the doctor came in and the sweet little boy turned to monster.  Here's Nolan stealing the doctor's chair...

He was ramming it so hard into the walls I'm sure the other patients were wondering what was going on.  I did try and give it back to the doctor but got an angry growl in reply and we decided it was worth keeping him happy.  The doctor said he was fine standing anyway.  Thank you doctor.

Hopefully he gets better soon and sweet boy returns!

Pacifier for baby J..

Good thing we aren't planning on having a baby anytime soon...Nolan still has some work as you will see in this video with Baby J! Pacifier problems..

Hans scares everyone with his dance moves..

Finger painting!

I made finger paint for Nolan last week (consisting of flour, water, food coloring, and sugar).  In the pictures below it will look like Nolan loved to finger paint.  And I thought about lying for the blog and saying he did.. but the truth was he hated every minute of it..UNTIL he realized he could eat it. 

In the pictures where he is smiling it's because I was tickling him under his highchair.

But he was really saying: "Gross what's this crap on my fingers?!"

"Get this junk away from me mom!"

"If you don't take it I will just throw this crud on the floor " (That was fun to clean up).

"EWWW GET IT OFF MY HANDS NOW!!!"

All the things Nolan can get done without leaving his box...

More importantly all the things I got done while Nolan was sitting in the box!

Nolan's 1st haircut!

I finally caved and let Nolan get his haircut last week.  He got to pick out a movie (Thomas the Train) to watch during his haircut and he got to pick out a car to sit in.

He would have preferred the car to be a little closer to the ground...

 In the beginning everything was going well.

And then haircut lady got on his nerves big time.  She almost cut me with the scissors as well when I was running around taking pictures.  So for Nolan (and my sake) she put the scissors away and electric razored the rest of his hair.

Thankgoodness for bribery and suckers which made everything better.

The haircut lady was also nice enough to save us a ziplock of ALL OF THE HAIR she cut off. I gagged as I was only hoping for one little curl.  I was sad to see him look like such a big boy..but then he pooped his pants and I realized he was still my little baby!

Baby Road Rage!

As many of you know Nolan basically lives in his car these days.  And he has turned into quite the sedentary driver!

"GEEEEZ WATCH OUT LADY!!!"

 HONK HONK! "USE YOUR BLINKER OLD MAN!!!"

" DANG..HIT A CURB..Definitely got some whiplash." (Inherited this driving skill from his mother)

"That's it I'm taking things into my own hands..."

"Hey Lady! Learn how to drive or I'll come over there and teach you!"

"Oh no my foot is caught! Well this is embarrassing..."

 "I better get back in the car.. I can't help but to laugh at myself."

"Hey lady I will get you next time!"

" Oh my gosh how fast am I going?!"

"Let's see...what's my speed?" (Yes he just happens to travel with a magnifying glass)

"That CAN'T be right...I wasn't traveling THAT fast!"

"This magnifying glass must be broken!"

"Hey pretty ladies in the car behind me..."

 "I could chat with you invisible girls ALLLL day!"

Aren't you excited for me to turn 16 and get my license???
