3 months!

Happy FRIDAY!

Nolan is THREE months old today!! And he has reached his first huge milestone in his young life! He can put his entire fist in his mouth! We couldn't be prouder! 

He starts out with his thumb...

 Ah heck enough messing around.. here we go whole fist...

 This isn't my first choice..but nobody would give me a pacifier...

 And the fist is in the mouth! :) 

I intervened at this point because I was afraid he'd start choking.

Pregnancy quotes

So I found the list of quotes that I wrote down that people said to me during my pregnancy.  Some were funny and some of them were almost the death of people.  I figured I would share them since 400 of my friends are pregnant right now and I know some of them are getting outrageous comments as well! :)

"Wow you've really BALLOONED!"

"It's ok to drink beer once in awhile! It will help you sleep better at night!"  (pretty sure she was telling me to get drunk and pass out)

"Your boobs look like they are going to attack me!"-Carrie Jaeger (haha!)

Stranger: "How far along are you?"
Me: "6 months"
Stranger: "WOW! You look bigger than my friend who is 9 months along!"
Me: "Awesome!"

Work Lady: "You look like a giant bumblebee in that shirt!"
(And then every time i walked by her office she would yell out "BUZZZZZZ!")
I'm pretty sure I almost whooped ass on that day.

Lady who brings me mcdonalds at work..
Me: "No McDonalds for me..trying to eat healthier".
Lady: "Oh my gosh you are taking this pregnancy thing WAY to seriously."
Me: "umm thanks?"

We were at a concert and they were playing "Rockin the beer gut" song.  A drunk guy blatantly turned around and nodded at my stomach and rubbed his own.  Hans thought this was fantastic and died laughing.

"You could feed an army with those boobs!"

HAPPY MONDAY!!!

  Here are the noteworthy things that happened this last week....

Monday: Sucked! Always does!

Tuesday:
 Nolan struggled sleeping all night and I finally got him back to sleep around 8 am.  That's when I saw the Fedex truck parked outside our house and the Fedex guy running up our steps. I knew in 5 seconds he would be ringing the doorbell so I bolted to the door swinging it open..and then I felt the draft..Yep no pants.  Wouldn't have been so bad if the Fedex guy didn't blatantly look down and give me a creepy smile!  Oh and the dog barked and woke up Nolan anyway...Fail!

Tuesday night:
Hans made me the best dinner of my life for Valentine's Day! I also got chocolates and the Ninja blender that I wanted so DESPERATELY...although it's Monday and it's still hasn't made it out of the box yet.

Wednesday:
Nolan had the biggest poop of his life.  It went through his clothes and all over me.  I gagged profusely but miraculously lived to tell about it.

Thursday night:
Hans was sleep-talking and poking me and saying "HI MR. Fancy pants!" and flirting with me in his sleep.  Which means in his dream he was flirting with a man.  Basically Hans came out of the closet Thursday night in his sleep.

Sunday: Our microwave/stove went out!!!  I was ticked because my spaghettios were in there and the meatballs didn't even get warmed!!! Hans was ticked because it may cost us $1000 dollars.  Maybe he should get his priorities straight.

Nolan turned into quite the flirt this week..

 My aunt Linda and cousin Ryan babysat Nolan for me!

Looks like he has a bright future ahead of him..

Happy Vday! This post is short because I got a NINJA for Valentines day!!!  Best husband ever!! Now off to blend stuff!!!

Dog for Sale..but not really

 Happy Sunday!! Today's post is about our dog Banks. Banks has had a pretty fun life up until the baby arrived..

From his cross dressing days..

To his Halloween costumes..

But now his fun is somewhat over. I've stopped dressing him up and he is obviously devastated.  Here's some of the habits Banks has picked up since Nolan was born..

#1    He steals Nolan's socks.  It took Hans and I a month to figure this out. We just thought  they fell off Nolan easily..until we caught Banks in the act stealing them off Nolan's foot.  P.s. Notice how Nolan poses cutely even while he's sleeping!

#2   He eats Nolan's dirty onesies.  At first I thought this was demonic and hateful.  But then I realized he only ate out the necks because that's where Nolan's milk spit up was.  It still makes me super mad. (sorry mom this is one that you got him)..It was cute when it had a collar!

 #3  WHENEVER I lay down a blanket on the floor for Nolan- Banks IMMEDIATELY goes and sits on it like it's for him.  

However although he's acting out he's definitely loving his little brother..

I guess we will keep him.

   

Valentines Day Shoot #1 = FAIL

Happy Wednesday!! So I thought it would be cute to do a Valentine's Day shoot for Nolan and send out VDay cards...to my 5 followers! :)  So I dressed him in his "Professional Ladies Man" outfit and got started.  Maybe if I were more creative OR better with the camera OR had a more willing target things would have turned out better...

                                       My first mistake was my angle..

 My second mistake was choosing a naughty subject to shoot..

Tomorrow's shoot will be better.. can't be much worse!! :)

Back to work!

Happy Tuesday!! Since my last post I've started work... I was lucky to even find clothes to wear to work as almost all of my dress pants buttons popped off from trying to squeeze into them while pregnant. They are all waiting patiently to be sewn back on by my mother in Wisconsin..Hurry mom I need pants! I can't afford to buy clothes for myself anymore as Nolan just bought over $60 worth of clothes at Old Navy...

Nestle has been given Hans this whole week off for his "father" maternity time.  He does things a little differently then me but Nolan seems to be surviving.....

At first I was really upset about going back to work but it doesn't look like I'm missing too much fun while I'm gone. Stay tuned for my next weeks post of Nolan's Valentines Day Photo Shoot!!
