Found Panda

Sadly, after 7 months we are still going through boxes in our basement.  Tonight we found N's beloved Panda in a box! Because Panda has been in a box for so long I gave him a wash before reuniting him with N..

There was a sweet reunion and cries of joy from N.

And LOTS of kisses!

N got Panda all caught up on his reading.

Hugs!

Panda didn't look to happy to me..but he did just spend 7 months in complete isolation.

Here's a little bit of N's reading on video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64byxB8hBz8&feature=youtu.be

N continued to carry Panda around the rest of the day.

He even had to eat spaghetti dinner with us tonight.  (But both my husband and I were too annoyed with Panda at that point to take a picture of him sitting at the table with us).

How to couch jump..

N: "Now baby J are you paying attention?  Concentrate! Hey, over here!"

N: Ok good you're paying attention finally.  Now you get a good grip on the couch like this.."

N: "And then you use your legs and throw yourself over.

So glad he's teaching her so many important life skills.

Smores!

We had our first campfire of the year last weekend. It was past N's bedtime so we didn't plan on sharing any marshmallows or chocolate with him. He however didn't like that idea and when we looked away for 1/2 second..he had found the marshmallows and stuffed as many as he could in his mouth.

Then quickly went and sat back in his chair..

And acted innocent like he didn't have anything in his mouth..

Sneaky child..

Nascar..

Hans let N watch the Nascar races on TV a couple weeks ago..

In N's version of the races the School Bus ALWAYS gets first place.

Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day (yesterday) to the best dad and the reason why I survived my first 18 years of life!  My favorite memory of how selfless and loving my dad is happened during my 8th grade summer vacation.  I had a sleepover party at our house and  my dad had to leave early the next morning to go to work. I called his secretary upon waking up and asked if she could get a hold of him.  She asked if it was an emergency and I said it most definitely it was!  My dad called me minutes later frantic and I told him he had forgotten to make my friends and I breakfast before he left that morning (you don't understand..He ALWAYS made breakfast for us).  My dad then asked me if I knew he was in the middle of court.  I politely told him no I did not know he was in court and could he please leave and come make us pancakes. After a moment of silence on his end I was starting to realize this may have all been a bad idea and we all were going to be eating cereal for breakfast..or worse my mom would try and make it for us (just kidding mom..you are really good at making poached eggs).  To my astonishment though 15 minutes later my dad was home in his suit-coat and tie whipping up some pancakes before he rushed off back to court.  Not even a lecture for me..however I was taught the definition of an "emergency." Dad of the UNIVERSE! ( And spoiled princess of the universe)!  I wouldn't trade him for the whole entire world!!  And still to this day I will ONLY eat my dad's pancakes.

My dad, brother and I

N is lucky to have the two of the best grandpa's!!

And last but not least..Happy Father's Day to the best husband and father to my son!! For providing for us and allowing me to stay home with him the last 7 months I am forever grateful!! :)

 Like father like son

Dandelions

N loves to blow off the seeds of dandelions and spread them to everyone's yards. I always tell him to make a wish!

..and I know for sure every time he wishes that he can live with his mom forever.

Bathroom or N's Fun House..

I don't let N in the bathroom anymore because his life goal is to throw all of my belongings in the toilet.   He also thinks the bathroom is his personal playground and loves to jump off the toilet, lick the plunger, and unroll all the toilet paper.  He can't stand when I shut him out and will put any body parts he can fit under the door trying to find a way in. (It's fabulous when he puts his hands under the door like below because it's the one time he will let me clip his nails without screaming or hitting me).
Oh..and I promise I'm not sitting on the toilet while taking this picture..because that would just be gross...
