Founder's Day Parade!

We took N to a parade last weekend and he loved it (most of it).
N, the one who LOVES firetrucks, police cars, & ambulances, and is constantly mimicking the loud "WEEWOO, WEEWOOO," finally got the chance to be up close and personal with dozens of them at the parade.  And he was terrified and hated every minute of them.

When the actual parade started  N was a little creeped out..

But then the candy started being thrown..and while at first he was unsure what this "Candy" business was ...he caught on quickly from the children next to him.

And then he had the time of his life..

(But still was occasionally creeped out...)

"Throw me candy!"

Waving to the people on the floats..

Dancing with the dance team as they went by...

Creepily staring at the dance team as they were leaving..

He was very courteous and took everything the people in the parade handed him (Like the yellow plastic  bag).

And a gift certificate...and a pom pom.

This piece of paper he got was actually an invite for him to join a baby hip hop team after the leader saw his great moves.

But after an hour into the parade..he became less amused.

H and I were feeling the same way.

So we gave him a sucker and walked along the river back to our car.

Just posing and being nosey...

A great Saturday!
