Easter in Arkansas

Hans, Nolan, Banks and I traveled to Arkansas to visit Hans' family this Easter!  We left Thursday night and stopped over half way in Kansas City to spend the night because we were all getting pretty crabby at that point...mostly me.

It didn't help Banks got front seat and Nolan and I were smooshed in the back.

We picked a "dog friendly" hotel but we still had an elaborate plan to sneak Banks in so we didn't have to pay the extra pet cost.  Our elaborate plan was quickly fading when we realized the hotel was under construction and we only could go through the FRONT door..and then all hope was lost when Banks got loose and started running the halls.  It didn't help that Nolan was loudly giggling as we did our whisper yell for Banks to come back.  The front desk lady nicely asked Hans to sign papers to register our dog and we complied acting innocent as can be.

In the morning we got the suprise bill EXTRA $100 for having a dog! "PET FRIENDLY HOTEL? More like PET RAPE!" were Hans' words about the bill.

My first thought was... Take our dog!! he isn't even worth $25!!

Hans' first thought was getting his moneys worth which involved having Banks jump up on the bed and rub his butt everywhere and having Banks take a big dump in the hotel's front terraced lawn. (which I'm sure they have under surveillance and will add another $100 on to our credit card.)

We made it to Arkansas Friday and then the fun began! We went to a brand new Art museum "Crystal Bridges".  If I were in to art it would have been an amazing experience!

Gretchen took all the above pictures for me so I could see all the art that I rushed through and missed... while I was busy checking out the HUGE ELEVATOR!!

Don't worry I have more pictures of it..

Unfortunately Nolan slept through the whole elevator excitement..He would have been so excited too!

Here's a couple of Nolan and his auntie GG at Crystal bridges!

And his uncle PP!
And Grandma G of course!
Tomorrow will be Easter!
