I've been working at getting N to say "Mama." Right now he calls me "NAHNA." "NAHNA" is also his universal word for everything else like food, drink, toys, etc. When he is in REALLY desperate measures he will use "MAMA" (like when his ball is stuck under the couch or I've left him alone with his dad), but when I tell him to repeat it he goes back to "NAHNA" and smiles devilishly.
So recently we've been learning animals sounds. And he is really good at making the cow noise "Moooooo!" So in my genius mind I thought this could help him pronounce "Mama!" After he would say "Mmmmooooo!" I would say "Mmmmama!"
Well this has taken a tragic turn for the worst. Now whenever we say "MAMA" to N he replies loudly with "MOOOO!" Hans thinks this is hilarious. I would find it funny if I could fit into my old pants.
Nahna is for GRANDMA!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes it means grandma too! :) Although I swear he says "Gamma" sometimes when we show him your pictures (in assuming this is Miriam I'm replying to?)
